btw; FYI - did you know that if you click on the picture, that it enlarges it? then you can tell that the angels are NOT rag doll, and there are no feathers on it. just so you know. byeeeee
i heard through the blogosphere grapevine that Lacey Carter's tree (Matt's sis-in-law) won "best design" i really like the theme of Mom's tree. I can't tell if it's just the lighting in the picture, but the tree itself looks more teal than green...?
no, not teal. just bad lighting. do you know the name of Laceys tree, or anything about it? it was 'designers choice', not best design . . . but i can't think of which tree it was. actually, now that i think about it, Kay Christians tree got designers choice AND something else. it was pretty cute. it had everything from 'the Christmas story' movie. i meant to take some pictures, but didn't get back there. but i didn't think anyone but the christian girls helped. let me know if you know what it looked like. thanks Marci, mine don't look like this either, but mine also don't cost $1000 bucks. we didn't get an award (sniff sniff), but the last tree we did made the front page of the paper to advertise the jubilee.
ooooohhhh, i didn't realize it was a small tree. i remember it, and thought it was pretty cute with the green and pink poke a dot box and balls. i wonder if they judged them differently, cuz they had been awarded earlier than most of the others. pink and green were some of the cutest colors this year. i checked out her kitchen and really liked it. AJ seems to think everything has to be in the dark browns now a days, the floor the baseboards, all the cabinets etc. but i see that even cute young girls are still using the lighter wood. good, cuz i'm not into the dark- it's really pretty , but not for me.
