Taylor's Hair

So you were wondering about the "cowlick"? Well I'm not sure what happened. She has a mix of Jake's sweet cowlick and my little wispies, but you can't really see mine because my hair covers them and her hair sticks straight up. But I love it, hair is so much fun!
When I get her out of the bath and try to comb her hair it just goes "Poof ".....

She had these Chubby cheeks when she was first born and after about two weeks they started to get smaller but now they're back. She just had her 1 month apt. today and she already weighs 9.4 lbs.

HEY, I have a question. How come pictures keep disappearing off this site? I know Angelina took the arch picture off and added her own bit of art work, but what about the one of everyone under the building block arch in the museum? not fair, and not nice. I say, 'leave them alone'.

Washington county whimps

I was laughing when I read that Washington county closed school because of the snow storm. My yard currently has about 2 feet of snow- the last foot came just this week the other had been here a while. The only rule our school has is that if the temp is below 20 degrees then the kids can stay in from recess. So this week they got to miss recess on Monday but since Tuesday was a balmy 22 they had to go out and play! hahaha that is pretty damn cold... Anyway the roads are gross and slushy during the day and slippery and frozen at night and early morning. We are all tired of shoveling the walks. Our neighbor has a little tractor with a snow blade on the front so that helps with the driveway. Me..I am ready for the spring....how much longer?
2 weeks ago after a big snow we took the kids sledding at a park near Grandpa Schramm's house. It was really cold but really fun. I even caught Rob smiling, but Halle No-Likey the sledding. Here are some Pictures...

sled or die, punks!

Here is a sampling of sledding dos and don'ts:
First Garrett demonstrates the RIGHT way, then Tait doesn't.

On Nephi, and Lehi, and Enos and Omni . . .

Okay everybody, it's official. Aaron received his mission call yesterday, Thursday. Angie texted him to let him know that the 'big white envelope' had arrived. I think he was pretty wired or wigged out by the time he got home from work. He decided to torture himself further by waiting until 8 pm to open it so that everyone could be here. We called Jaci and Jake so they could hear along with the rest of us. His call is to Anchorage Alaska - English speaking, and he leaves on Feb. 25th 2009. We had everyone write down their guesses on where he was going; 'officially' there was no winner, no one was even close. But the unofficial winner was Dad, he said he was going to Twoboobs, Alaska. Lucky guess! About the only comment A.J. made was "I'm going to freeze to death!" We are really excited for him, what a exciting place to go. And we are extra proud of his decision to serve a mission. He's a great example for his friends here and I know those friends who are already serving will be excited to know he is joining them in the field. hummmm, this puts a new twist on 'the field is WHITE, already to harvest.' We love you A.J.
